Philadelphia Phillies awarded SAFETY Act Certification by DHS for its Citizens Bank Park Security Program

January 9, 2026: Philadelphia Phillies Receives SAFETY Act Certification

Aluma would like to congratulate its client, the Philadelphia Phillies, for successfully achieving SAFETY Act Certification for the Citizens Bank Park Security Program. Aluma is proud to have supported the Philadelphia Phillies in pursuing this award from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

The Philadelphia Phillies join a select group of professional sports organizations to achieve SAFETY Act Certification - the highest level of protection available under the SAFETY Act - for a comprehensive, integrated security program. The Philadelphia Phillies provide the Citizens Bank Park Security Program (the Technology), which consists of a coordinated combination of policies, physical and electronic measures, and trained personnel that collectively deliver security at Citizens Bank Park. The Technology is deployed on a continuous basis, supporting Major League Baseball (MLB) games, other sporting events, general entertainment events, political events, and non-event day operations.

With this award, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security recognizes the significant efforts undertaken by the Philadelphia Phillies to enhance the safety and security of all fans, staff, and visitors through a program designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate acts of terrorism.
